Support children join school in Mombasa

Campaign Overview:

“From Streets to Futures” is a year-long awareness and fundraising campaign by Glad’s House Kenya aimed at uniting all our causes under one powerful message — helping street-connected children and vulnerable youth move from survival on the streets to stability, education, and empowerment.

The campaign tells the full story of transformation: from outreach and rescue, to education, healthcare, family reintegration, justice, and youth empowerment — showing how each program builds a pathway to a brighter, sustainable future.

Campaign Goals:

  1. Raise Awareness – Change public perceptions of street-connected children from “victims” to children with potential and rights.

  2. Mobilize Support – Encourage individuals, schools, companies, and partners to donate, volunteer, or sponsor a child’s journey.

  3. Advocate for Change – Strengthen community and government support for child protection, juvenile justice reform, and inclusive policies.

  4. Empower Youth – Give young people the platform to share their stories and inspire others.

Key Campaign Pillars (Reflecting the Causes):

  1. Rescue & Protection – Street outreach, safe shelter, healthcare, and psychosocial support.

  2. Education & Skills – School sponsorships, vocational training, and life skills development.

  3. Family & Community Reintegration – Strengthening families and supporting long-term stability.

  4. Justice & Rights – Advocating for child-centered justice and ending the criminalization of street life.

  5. Empowerment Through Sport & Leadership – Using sports and mentorship to build confidence and resilience.

  6. Sustainability & Partnership – Promoting long-term community-driven solutions.
